Do heating & air conditioning system installations qualify for any tax credits?

The Inflation Reduction Act includes tax credits for homeowners that purchase high-efficiency heating & air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

To help reduce the effects of inflation, the U.S. Government has recently passed The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. Of particular interest to homeowners, the act includes a number of tax credits for the installation of ENERGY STAR certified home heating and cooling products (listed below).
