No Central Air

Challenge

GSM Services recently did a job at a home in Shelby, NC. The coworkers involved on this project were Shane Groves, Shawn Messer, Owen Driscoll, Jason Driscoll, Jo Glisson, and Stephen Van Scyoc. The home did not have any central cooling or heating. The heat was supplied by baseboard heaters. The family wanted an efficient way to heat and cool their home. They also wanted to be able to regulate the temperature in the home when they are not there.

Solution

We installed a 4 zone superheat ductless mini split system for the home. Two zones were placed upstairs and the other two were placed downstairs. The system as a whole ends up rating at 19 seer according to the AHRI directory. Wi-Fi accessible thermostats were installed to ensure that the temperature and climate of the home could be controlled from hundreds of miles away.
