Cooling Precision Tune up
CHECKLIST

• Chemically clean condenser coil
• Inspect blower wheel and motor for balance and debris
• Measure ratings on blower start assist
• Inspect evaporator coil
• Clean out debris from inside condenser
• Inspect condenser fan blade for cracks and proper balance
• Flush condensate drain line
• Check drain safety switches
• Measure temperature difference across evaporator coil
• Check high and low pressure switches
• Measure high voltage levels at indoor and outdoor equipment
• Measure control voltage levels at indoor and outdoor equipment
• Measure high voltage at service disconnects and inspect for burnt
or failing wire
• Check all high voltage electrical connections for loose or burnt
connections
• Check all control voltage electrical connections for loose or burnt
connections
• Measure compressor amps
• Measure amps on all fans
• Measure ratings on dual start assist
• Test motor starter for burnt or pitted contacts and measure for
high voltage loss
• Test thermostat operation
• Supply and change air filter per agreement
• Inspect ductwork
• Clean-up all work areas before leaving
